Lutheran Campus Ministry at Western Washington University is a faith community in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The ELCA is the largest Lutheran body in the U.S. and one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States. The ELCA has approximately 10,500 congregations and 4.8 million members. These congregations are organized into 65 synods. Lutheran Campus Ministry at WWU is a member of the Northwest Washington Synod of the ELCA. ​​The NW Washington Synod is comprised of 96 congregations.
